Course Overview: A worker Health and Safety Representative is selected by workers to address health and safety in the workplace. This course is specifically designed for a workplace that employs more than 5 and less that 20 people, as prescribed by the Occupational Health and Safety Act, which requires a health and safety representative.
This course provides a company\’s supervisor and an elected Health and Safety Worker Representative with the basic understanding of the role, rights and responsibilities of all parties in the workplace and hazard awareness, inspections, accident investigations and reporting requirements.
