Workplace Harassment and Violence Risk Assessment
January 29, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Why You Need It
Workplace harassment and violence can affect all business sectors and occupations. STS Group’s industry-leading Workplace Harassment and Violence Risk Assessment provides the employer with a sound foundation appropriate to building a fully compliant and effective harassment and violence program.
Failure to prevent inappropriate or unacceptable behaviors has financial consequences. Costs are associated with: investigation time, loss of productivity, poisoned working environment, absenteeism, and worst case scenario, loss-time injuries. Workers directly or indirectly affected by workplace harassment and violence suffer anxiety and may become less productive and less committed to their work.
All provincial and federal legislation requires the employers to prepare a written harassment and violence risk assessment that identifies all potential internal and external risks that may affect workers, visitors and guests, and where applicable, the general public.
The STS Group’s risk assessment is designed to ensure the employer, supervisors and employees concerns and potential risk to harassment and violence are identified.
The STS Group’s workplace harassment and violence risk assessment is undertaken and delivered based on legislative standards, worker reports, existing known risks (internal and external), and considers the potential for harassment and violence including potential random sources.
The final report will highlight all risks identified and all reasonable sources of risks. Controls will be reviewed and discussed according to the organization’s capacity to implement.
Employers, Supervisors and Workers in both federal and provincial workplaces.
