Terms & Conditions

1.       Course registration or service may be cancelled up to five business days prior to the course/service date without penalty. Cancellations must be received via email to info@stscanada.com.

2.       If your cancellation is received less than five working days prior to the course/service start date or if the participant(s) fails to attend the course/service your company will be charged the full amount.

3.       The terms and conditions applicable to certain courses or services being requested vary.  Please see below for details:

a.       Attending a public course (at an STS Group location) – A participant can be substituted up to the course start date if the original participant is unable to attend at no additional cost.

b.       On-site training at your location or at a location requested by you – You may cancel the course or consulting any time prior to 5 business days of the course/service date.  If cancelled within 5 business days, you are responsible for the full cost of the course/service. 

4.       Please note that due to circumstances beyond our control, STS Group may find it necessary to reschedule or cancel any course/service because of low enrollment at any time. You will be notified accordingly.

5.       Please note:

a.       Normal charges still apply if; lifting device scheduling confirmation is not signed before the evaluation is to take place; notification the day of evaluation that participant has less than the minimum 8 hours of practical experience on each piece of equipment he/she will be operating; annual certification has not been completed on the equipment the participant is to be certified on; or if an STS Group evaluator deems that the lifting device equipment is not in good working order.
